6th Grade Language Arts
Students are to read up to chapter 8 (through page 68) in "Where the Red Fern Grows". There will be a quiz on chapters 1-7 on Thursday, March 27th.

Language Arts 6A & 6B
Students are to read chapters 9, 10, and 11 in "Hurry Home, Candy (Pages 95-135) for Monday, January 7th. They will have a reading check on January 7th on the assigned chapters. If students were absent on Thursday, December 20, they need to read chapters 6, 7 and 8 (pages 60-92), which we read in class. The quiz will cover chapters 6-11.

Scrapbook Assignment
Students are to create a scrapbook of information about your independent reading book.This assignment is due on December 17, 2007.

Language Arts 6A & 6B SHORT STORY UNIT TEST on 11/13 & 11/15
Students have a short story unit test on Tuesday, November 13th and Thursday, November 15th. On the 13th is the multiple choice, matching and short answer questions. On the 14th the writing portion of the test will be given. Students received a detailed review sheet with all the information they must know for the test. Monday, November 12th will be an in-class review session. Students should come to class prepared with questions they have about test.
