A brief introduction to electricity will begin on Thursday, February 28. Topics will include the generation of electricity, types and forms of energy, force, voltage, amps, watts, current, circuits, resistance, capacitance and electronic devices. A quiz is scheduled on Thursday, March 6. Students should be familiar with their in-class notes. An electrical lab using our electronic 'playground' boards is scheduled March 10-12. We'll begin a new unit on the metric system Thursday, March 11 and conclude with a test over the metric system on Thursday, March 20.
